Business executives and entrepreneurs will gather at The Mansion at Oyster Bay on Thursday, March 26, for a networking breakfast focused on artificial intelligence applications in business, according to event organizers.
The Schneps Connects breakfast, scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m., will feature a discussion titled “How to Leverage AI for Your Business” with two Long Island technology veterans: Paul Trapani, co-founder of PassTech Development, and Gus Spathis, founder of Xogito.
Trapani brings more than 25 years of software design and development experience to the discussion, according to event materials. He currently serves as president of LISTnet, the Long Island Software & Technology Network, and teaches as an adjunct professor at New York Institute of Technology.
Spathis draws on over 30 years as a technologist building internet and data-driven platforms, according to organizers. The two speakers will address what business leaders need to decide about artificial intelligence implementation in their operations.
The discussion will cover practical considerations including return on investment, governance structures, talent requirements, and competitive positioning strategies, according to Schneps Media. Organizers emphasize the session will focus on actionable insights rather than industry hype.
“The insights gained through these small-format conversations provide actionable ideas that leaders can immediately apply to their businesses,” said Elizabeth Schneps Aloni of Schneps Media.
The speakers plan to address priorities executives should consider over the next 12 to 24 months regarding AI adoption, according to event organizers. The format includes networking time followed by the featured discussion.
Schneps Connects positions the breakfast series as part of its 2026 programming designed to bring together top executives, entrepreneurs, and local leaders. The events create opportunities for connections, discussions, and business insights, according to organizers.
“These intimate gatherings foster meaningful connections among business leaders from a wide range of industries,” Schneps Aloni said.
The networking breakfast targets an intimate group of executives for what organizers describe as meaningful networking opportunities. Club members receive access to these breakfasts along with other exclusive benefits, including visibility through Schneps Media channels and personal introductions.
The March event continues the organization’s breakfast series format, which combines structured networking with educational programming. Previous events in the series have addressed various business topics relevant to Long Island’s professional community.
Tickets for the March 26 breakfast are available through SchnepsConnects.com, according to organizers. The Mansion at Oyster Bay will host the event, providing a venue for the intimate gathering format Schneps Connects emphasizes in its programming.
